Mike Donatello is President of Brain For Hire LLC, a consultancy focused on enhancing the ability of smaller opinion and marketing research firms to win and service client relationships.
Before founding Brain For Hire, Donatello was Vice President of Research Quality for the Marketing Research Association, and served as president and treasurer of the association’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Prior to joining MRA national staff, Donatello was Vice President, Research at Bulletin Intelligence. His past positions include Director of Research at USA TODAY, where he oversaw all market intelligence for the USA TODAY brand across media platforms and subsidiaries, and Director of Research at WashingtonpostNewsweek Interactive, the online subsidiary of the Washington Post Company. Donatello also served in research management positions at comScore Networks, the Newspaper Association of America and Borrell Associates.
Donatello holds a bachelor’s degree with double major in advertising and psychology, and a master’s in advertising and media research, both from the University of Wisconsin. His doctorate in media research is from the University of North Carolina. Donatello has long been an active contributor to professional organizations, including the Marketing Research Association, the Advertising Research Foundation, the American Association for Public Opinion Research, the NAA Research and New Media Federations, the Media Rating Council and the American Marketing Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and psychology, and a master’s in advertising and media research, both from the University of Wisconsin.
